Maximum 4 students per entry, they have to be from same grade level.

Siblings from different grades cannot be together in a project.

Adults can help, in fact we want them to get involved. Parents can guide and supervise the experiment and even help to build the display. They just can’t perform the experiment and be with the participants during the judging. (So parents, no peeking!)

Experiments are recommended over collections and models.

Displays must be on Tri Folds. Your display must fit within the allocated space of 36 inches wide and 15 inches deep. The display must be self-supporting.

Limit your presentation to 5 minutes.

Show respect to all other participants!

Always wash your hands after doing the experiment, especially if you have
been handling chemicals or animals

Wear protective goggles when doing any experiment that could lead to eye injury.

Do not touch, taste or inhale chemicals or chemical solutions.

Respect all life forms. Do not perform an experiment that will harm an animal.

Any project that involves drugs, firearms, or explosives are not permitted.

Any project that breaks district policy, and/or local, state or federal laws are
not permitted.

No electric outlets will be provided at the Fair.

No open flames (candles, lighters etc.) permitted.

No pets - live or dead animals , balloons/latex products permitted in school. Some of our friends are allergic and we want everyone to be safe.

Any liquid (which means water as well) involved in the project considered as a MESSY PROJECT.

If the Project is messy the students are responsible for cleaning up.

If there are dangerous aspects of your experiment, like using sharp tools or
experimenting with electricity, please have an adult help you or have them do the dangerous parts.

Once the project is setup on the respective spots, students are not allowed to go back and forth to the restroom to bring water.

Maximum amount of liquid is 1 gallon.

If your project is messy, please do the experiment at home and video tape it. You can display it to judges on your chrome book. Remember!! if you are bringing your chrome book, you are responsible for your chrome book. No chargers/plug points are provided or allowed.

Tri fold is a must for everything that you shown on the technology.

When the judges are in the room, BE AT YOUR SPOTS. No running around.

Use safety on the internet! Never write to anyone without an adult knowing
about it. Be sure to let an adult know about what websites you will be visiting,
or have them help you search.

As soon as the set up is done, parents should leave the room and wait in the waiting area.

Please spell your (and your teammates) names carefully and clearly when you register, we want you to have your certificate at the fair and not later! DO NOT REGISTER MORE THAN ONCE.
